Considered one of the best Gastro-tourism events of the Country, the upcoming 3rd installment of the Baja Culinary Fest will have the participation of 25 guest chefs, food lovers, sommeliers and culinary schools among many other involved guests from around Mexico and Southern California.
A group of Baja chef's had the initiative to start the "Baja California Culinary Fest", thanks to the several attractions Baja has to offer, including the climate and location. In 2012, the festival was awarded the prize for best tourism product of the country in the Gastro Tourisim category, in that year's "Tianguis Turistico.
This year it will be no different, with outstanding guest chefs such as: Juantxo Sanchez, Maria Teresa Ramirez Degollado, Jorge Vallejo, Pedro Ortega, israel Montero, Josefina Santacruz, José Miguel García, Gerardo Vazquez Lugo, Francisco Ruano, and the wine maker Hugo D'Acosta, along with several local chefs like Miguel Angel Guerrero, Javier Plascencia, Roberto Alcocer and to name a few.
